Oklahoma City, OK
Pool table moving, installation and recovering across Oklahoma City and the metro.
Here at Oklahoma City Pool Table Movers, we understand that the most important part of buying a new or used pool table is how well that it is put together. We have set up thousands of pool tables throughout the years and have seen everything. Some of the tools that we use to ensure the highest level of quality include a machinist level for accurate leveling, a beeswax mixed with resin compound for filling in holes and seams, and composite wood shims that are moisture resistant and don't compress as easily as traditional cedar shims. We proudly serve all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and surrounding areas.
At Oklahoma City Pool Table Movers, we specialize in pool table move, pool table setup or installation, and pool table recover. Feel free to give us a call with any questions that you may have.
A slate table comes apart into a frame, a bed in sections and a set of rails, and around this metro those pieces usually travel on the flat. Most of the housing is single storey and sits on a slab, so the stair that dominates this job in other cities barely comes up. What replaces it is the carry: a wide lot, a long driveway, and a front door that can be a good distance from wherever a truck can reasonably stand.
The garage is the other regular feature, and it is worth a word because it is not always the open floor people picture. A lot of garages here have a storm shelter set into the slab, and a shelter lid is not somewhere a table leg can stand. Where the table goes in a garage is a layout question before it is a levelling one.
Then there is the slab itself. Ground moves here through the year, and a table that read dead level in the spring can be asking for a shim by the autumn. That is not a fault in the table or in the installation; it is the floor doing what floors do here, and it is the reason re-levelling is a normal visit rather than an admission of something gone wrong.
Moving if the table is changing address, installation if it is staying put, recovering if the cloth has had enough.
Broken down, hauled and rebuilt true in the new room.
Assembled, packed level and clothed where it already stands.
Spent cloth off bed and rails, new cloth on, slate read while it is open.
Three inputs set the price. The table: size, and one slab or three. The route: doorways, any flights at all, and the walk from the door to wherever a truck can stand. The room: where it lands and what the floor does underneath it.
Stairs carry a real cost here where they exist at all, so it is worth being straight about whether a flight is involved when you ask, rather than leaving it to the morning.
Where a garage layout or a shelter lid rules out the spot you had in mind, that gets worked out at the quote, not with the frame already built around it.
